TRENDnet Wireless N PCI Adapter TEW-643PI Review
Bought it locally for ~$40. After installing it, I cannot get it to connect faster than 26 Mbps, when I should be getting 150Mbps (that's as fast as my Linksys N Router will go). Connecting to a Netgear G router will only get me 11 Mbps - nowhere near where it should be.Besides it being slow, it seems to lose signal every now and then. It recovers after a minute, but my Vaio laptop (a couple years old and a few rooms FURTHER from the router) *never* has any problems losing signal.
The Trendnet wireless configuration utility is not awful, but it is far from user-friendly.
It gets two stars because it connects and it works. But not very well.
