These things flat out WORK. There is no configuration, just plug and go. I purchased a pair so my PS3 streaming of Netflix would be higher quality. Works fantastically. Just purchased two more today so I can hardwire other machines in the house.UPDATE AFTER 8 months of use:
After 8 months of having used these things, they still work like a charm. Fantastic speed that outpaces any ISP (so it's not a bottle neck) and the ease of use is unbeatable. Reliable. Great.
