Bought a pair of these to replace the stock 2dbi antennae on my D-Link DIR-825 wireless router. I needed both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz since I run a simultaneous dual-band network. There are very few options out there for a dual band omni-directional antenna for indoor use, especially one that doesn't break the bank so I bough 2 of these and some cheap ones from eBay that cost a total of $13 including shipping. The ebay antennas are outperforming these. I saw no improvement over the 2dbi stock antennae, despite these antennae being rated at 5dbi. The cheapies boosted me about 1-2%. I think I'll just experiment with tin foil or some directionals.
